Mia Murdock
Founder & CEO
Mia founded Mosaic Planning Group in 2019 after beginning her career in the insurance industry in 2007. Today, after nearly two decades in the insurance planning field, and combined with her formal education, she is a highly sought after advisor in protection planning. She is widely known for her creative and solution-based approach to life insurance, long term care insurance and disability insurance. Mia’s transparent, objective approach serves clients and their trusted advisors across the US as well as internationally.
Mia resides in Jackson, WY with her husband, two sons and a few furry friends. When she isn’t designing insurance solutions, she is outdoors or enjoying her art studio.
Ashley Trahan
Coordination specialist
Ashley has a background in accounting and is an excellent teammate and resource. The Mosaic group, our peers and clients benefit from her strengths in organization, analysis and client service. As a coordination specialist, she assists clients to seamlessly obtain coverage and manage their policies through Mosaic’s client concierge service. She is a trusted point of contact with a lightning speed response rate.
Ashley lives in Northern Colorado with her husband and two children. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys camping and exploring the outdoors with her friends and family.
Danielle Phillips

Danielle takes the time to understand each client’s specific situation. With over 25 years of extensive knowledge and commitment to personalized service has earned her a reputation as a reliable advisor in the area. Danielle works with a variety of top-rated insurance carriers to ensure her clients receive the best options at the most competitive rates. She is passionate about providing peace of mind and helping clients navigate the complexities of insurance with integrity, transparency, and care.
When she’s not working with clients, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, and hiking around the beautiful landscapes that Montana has to offer.
